Hold the phone with the screen facing your partner. Tip the top of the displayed card toward your partner for Correct, or away for Pass. The game detects portrait and both landscape directions, ignoring sideways tilts. Hold it still for calibration, and return to neutral between cards. If needed, reverse directions below.

How to play

First learn the signs together. For Heads Up play, the guesser holds the phone upright on their forehead with the screen facing their partner. The partner sees the card and signs it silently. When the guesser gets it right, tilt forward or tap Correct; tip backward or tap Pass. You can also swipe the card. Swap roles next round. Every card has a built-in, sign-specific YouTube video from an ASL learning source. Sign videos loop muted at your selected speed when the publisher allows it. Visible playback controls are minimized. Tap a video if Safari blocks autoplay. Internet is required to watch the hosted videos.

    Put the phone on the guesser’s forehead with the screen facing the signer. Hold it steady during the countdown so tilt controls can calibrate after the round starts. Turn the phone sideways (landscape) for the full game layout. The signer does the ASL sign without saying the answer.
